That’s why I went back to it a month ago. I am now a parishioner of a contemporary rock ‘n’ soul church and an Episcopal church that follows the ancient liturgy with all rituals intact. Living out my hippie roots from the sixties hasn’t been able to silence an equal heart’s desire for contemplative traditions that focus on our holy, unfathomable God. Same God, Jesus and Spirit. Two different, yet compatible forms of worship.
