There is a scene from one of my cult favorite movies Thunderheart, where Grandpa Sam tells agent Ray Levoi that he is far from his true self and his Origins. I feel this way as a follower of Jesus, so far removed from the simplicity of the message He taught and walked some 2000 years ago. I now realize there is to much baggage in this thing we call Christianity, to walk and live as Jesus lived and so I must go back to my spiritual roots as well. It is time to let it all go except for the Love and it’s message of peace and reconciliation to my weary soul as well as the souls around me. So I will hold on as tightly as I can to this Jesus whom I love and follow, leaving me very little energy to hold on the rest of the stuff.

The GREATEST COMMANDMENT according to Jesus concerned two attributes: Love and concentration.
Love…with ALL your strength, ALL your mind, etc…
To walk with Jesus may be simple as opposed to complex…
but it is not easy, it takes practice and work.
It takes concentration and Love.
